Last weekend our colleagues visited MageConf’, the main subject of which was the whole technology stream used in Magento – PhP, JS, etc.

The conference was a great success, different seminars and workshops were held at the same time. Everyone had an opportunity to attend the lecture he was most interested in and ask a few questions afterwards. During the short coffee breaks the participants could share their ideas and impressions.

The conference management was at the highest level. After the last discussion everyone was invited to join the afterparty.

It is already a third time we are providing free courses for PHP-programmers and every time we are inviting best alumni to work or
probation.The program of the courses is the following:– Basic concepts (the syntax, operators, variables, constants, control
structures, strings processing (search, replace, formatted output), arrays
(numbered, associative, multidimensional arrays, functions for working with
arrays), input/output (functions for working with files and file system).– Object-oriented programming (classes, properties, methods, inheritance,
abstract classes, interfaces).– Databases (SQL. PDO)– Web-programming (session, forms, GET and POST data, download files, cookies).– Security (Setup, security sessions, SQL injections).

These days we have already finished the second course for PHP-programmers-beginners, that lasted from the middle of March.Over 20 students have listened to our lectures. As a result, we invited part of them for the cooperation. Next courses are planned to be held on September. Registration starts on the beginning of August.

Student startups contest in Uzhhorod University lasted for 2 days. In addition to presenting their own ideas, students also studied actively. Experienced each in their field, speakers provided them with knowledge, experience and helpful tips for developing their own matters.

5 startups were presented at the Conference this year. The winner was "SHARECOFFEE" from Daniel Voloshin, student of Faculty of information technologies. Its main concept is to share a coffee with friends through the online service, not just by saing the words "coffee's on me".

I am grateful to StartUp Village, FIT and UzhNu for the ability to listen to the interesting performances and master classes. I gained lots of experience in the presentation of my product, saw positive feedback, people were really interested. And this means that we must move forward. After closing the session I will try to fine-tune the project up to the first version and please you with a great service, – says Daniel.

We hope that StartUp Village 2017 winner will complete the implementation and soon we'll get a new interesting and useful service. And we are pleased that we were able to join the event as sponsors and be a part of the jury, and we'll continue supporting interesting ideas of the youth.
